You are overwhelmed by the thought of taking on a building or remodeling project. Large projects especially demand to have a myriad of details decided and attended to. There are so many things to keep up with and stay on top of. Yet even a bathroom remodeling project can seem like a daunting undertaking.
You are frightened by the prospect of having to choose an architect or designer and then a contractor. How do you know you will get someone honorable and skillful? You have probably heard or experienced your share of horror stories about construction projects gone awry. The poor communication. The adversarial stances. The lack of respect. The potential legal battles and related expenses.
You are in the midst of a project in which there has been at least some breakdown of communication and goodwill. Maybe things started out on a good footing and then deteriorated. And once things start to deteriorate it can be awfully difficult to start to mend fractured relationships and turn things back around.
